I don't have a lot of time to work out. I have been walking at lunch time but is walking really enough to get me in shape?
It really depends on what you are wanting to accomplish. Walking will definitely make a difference. But if you are wanting to get stronger then you will need to add weight training to your regimen. If you are wanting to create a stronger cardiovascular system then you need to add some more intense cardio to your training. If you are wanting to improve your weight loss then you will want to vary it up.
You do not have to have a ton of time to add other types of workouts in. In fact you can burn just as many calories in a fraction of the time doing a simple routine of pushups, squats, pull ups and sprints.
Walking is great to get some exercise in and to relieve stress, and it does make a difference, but depending on your goals it may not be enough, In the fitness section of the website I am now posting a variety of workouts including quick workouts for those who have very little time. Check them out, it may help.
